could not survive Democratic opposition if Trump tries to renew it. Secondly, this just confirms that Republicans in Congress have been grossly underfunding the DC police force, which is severely understaffed. The DC police force does indeed need more cops to put on the street. This exercise is a waste of money and totally useless.
