8. An End to Collective Bargaining Is A Cornerstone of Everything Trump Does

Trump doesn't really care about anything outside of making himself richer and more puffed up. But the moneyed people behind him are viewing his indifference as a unique opportunity to get through a decades-long project: smashing every union in the country so people have to fight back individually (and therefore hopelessly).

Look at the approach to education, for example. The "choice" that they want is really to run schools without unions, not because they really give a damn about schools but because it gets their foot in the door by taking down one of the biggest example of collective bargaining in the country.
