Big pot of oatmeal for family breakfasts, much more economical than bacon and eggs.
Peanut butter on second day bread makes great brown bag lunch sandwiches for hubby and kiddies.

And don’t forget jello for those special days when dessert is a surprise treat!

Ah yes, depression day meals brought back again, just like the good old days.
