but I think the point was to intimidate legal immigrant workers so that they will be afraid to show up for work and it will then hurt the restaurant's ability to serve its customers. This is happening at California's farms and other businesses.

"The immigration agents, dressed in Homeland Security uniforms, reportedly asked to see the staff’s I-9 forms that verify their identity and employment authorization."
