6. Ha ha ha! Like many businesses especially restaurants have extra employees they can lose and still make it.

When I lived in WA state and there was some hew and cry about all the supposedly illegal immigrants picking fruit and vegetables and some enhanced level of enforcement by ICE threatened against them, many growers set up programs to train and hire local HS kids, the homeless and others seeking work. It was a dismal failure as so few wanted to even consider it. Of the few that did most made it only a day or two before quitting as they couldn't stand the backbreaking work in the hot sun and the wages were so low.
