The United States imports a significant amount of oil from Canada, with Canada being the largest single source of US oil imports. In 2022, Canada supplied approximately 60% of US crude oil imports. Canada's crude oil exports to the US have consistently been high, with nearly 97% of Canada's crude oil exports going to the US in 2023.
