I'm going to show up for Juneteenth in my community and encourage all of my friends to go and celebrate with our fellow Americans.

Someone once called it a 'fake holiday' - I said "Oh, a holiday commemorating the emancipation of a sizeable portion of our population from the evil of slavery is more "fake" than a holiday commemorating a guy who didn't "discover" America?"
