3. So let me get this straight

Legal permanent resident, meaning he has approved status... Attending a naturalization ceremony, meaning he applied for, was vetted, and was about to receive citizenship.... So he literally did everything right. Within the law. Wasn't "illegal" or anything like that. And he speaks out against the government; a right any US citizen (and many would argue any inside the borders and hence covered by the Constitution) and now he is facing deportation? Revocation of status? Having his pending US citizenship cancelled outright?

This seems... Excessive. Evil. Un-American.
