But I am perplexed nonetheless: are you attributing all the aforementioned talents to me? Other than a breathtakingly brilliant hindsight suggestion to Macron (I am counting on his inner circle to report it to him), have I really showcased the unique talents you listed? I am eager to take full credit for the feats I don't recall performing, but I am not sure whether you are attributing them to me or just expressing general admiration for them.

Or is this post a tip-off to Macron not to go ahead with recognizing the Palestinian state because... no Palestine without the Palestinians? You appear to say exactly what I had said before (minus the snark) - that Macron's advance warning of the impending recognition of the Palestinian state is too little too late. I completely agree: in order to make a halfass meaningful impression, his announcement should have preceded Israel's response to the worst one-day assault on its civilians in history and taking its citizens hostage. Then, Macron would have without any doubt looked like an idiot. Frankly, I cannot tell my snark from your straight-face critique of him.

More than that, being exceptionally modest, I would suggest that between the two, my snarky advice to Macron compares favorably to yours. Just as batshit ridiculous, but dignified enough to not solicit Pavlovian reactions with tired memes.
