Black dean felt compelled to resign because Breitbart attacked his comments that US is and has been racist and thus flag is flag of a racist country.

Extreme for some people's feelings. But blacks should be free to express their experiences. I think his comments were as a private person on twitter or similar. He wasn't acting as the voice of the university.
