59. The intent is clearly to cut off military aid. The fact that it is a Republican putting it forward looks terrible.

Democrats should have done it first. Now they are looking like followers or, if they vote it down, they will be painted as "Israel First" and supporters of genocide.

As for "harmful consequences" that is going to sound like spin and CYA. The Democratic base is not stupid and neither are DU'ers as shown by the responses here.
