1. I have a friend who claims not making a choice is still a choice. I told him yes of course it is but

it's a choice to not participate in your government. It's a choice to step aside and let others make all of the decisions for you. It's a choice to be lazy. It's a choice to not have a say in anything in society. And it's a choice that you have no right to complain about anything in your life or our society because government is an important part of both the society we live in and your life, like it or not. Choosing to not decide is no different than sitting at a stop sign forever because that is exactly what you are doing, just standing there, never moving, never thinking, never progressing because not making a choice is the absolute easiest laziest thing you can ever do.
There are millions upon millions like him who believe just that. My choice is not to make one. It is absolutely THE biggest problem in our electorate, the I can't be bothered or my vote doesn't matter class. 90 million strong in 2024.
