2. I no longer live in a state that holds my vital records

I have multiple copies of mine. Moving around the US requires registering to vote, and you gotta have those things.

I think it's important for Dems who don't have one to get a certified copy of their birth certificate ASAP

If possible women who have changed their surnames need to get those changes linked to their birth certificate (however that's done).

My partner goes by her first husbands name as that's what's on her transcripts that certify she has a PhD. She's worried but not doing anything about it...
