that a low-cost drone can take down a $35,000,000 Apache. They would rather cover up the story than risk the possibility that the Pentagon will wake up and realize we have been building all the wrong kinds of weapons for the past 50 years.

Boeing gets $5 BILLION from the Pentagon for Apaches, plus lots more from other countries that have bought the Apache. The marketing people are prevailing here. "Just say it was a fluke accident. Nothing to see here."
