13. One thing about Trump that has occurred to me is that although he's as mad as a box of frogs,

he's not really very interesting as a person. He is newsworthy because he is insane while being the president, which of course is a huge problem, but as a person he's boring. He's utterly predictable. Offend him in any way and he'll spend the night throwing a hissy fit on his Temu social media platform, and it's always the same basic material. All of whatever is left of his mental energy is expended on expressing grievance and narcissistic injury. No doubt political scientists will spend decades studying the question of how a raving nutball got to be president, and his picture will appear in future psychology textbooks in the chapter on malignant narcissism (and the next DSM edition might even have a whole new disorder named after him that rolls all the other psychological disorders into one big festering clump). But he is so predictable in his madness that I don't understand why his midnight ravings are even reported any more. I suppose if he says he's going to nuke Iran or hang Jim Comey someone should pay attention, but otherwise he's a crashing bore. Go back to bed, Piggy, and let the nice lady who brings your pudding and Ovaltine take your phone and put it in a safe place.
