It gets really old around here when you are trying to decipher the facts and realize that the knee jerk determinations may not be the full story. There seem to be many posters who think if you don't automatically believe an accuser, that you don't think women can be victims of sexual assault. I certainly want victims to have justice. We all do. But we all also know that Republicans are not beyond creating a scandal to advance an agenda, or else create a distraction from something else. So, waiting and wanting facts is NOT a bad thing, and is in fact, the proper course.

I was impressed with Porter for a long time, but when I saw the videos of the way she was treating HER staffers, I lost a lot of respect for her. Is she empowering women when she yells at a young woman to "get out of my frame"?

We've lost a whole helluva lot under Trump. A lot of rights and remedies for people. I don't want to see the right to defend ones' self lost in the shuffle. The facts will come out in time and there has certainly not been enough time for that to happen.
