And this positive feedback loop has pushed them so far from anything resembling reality that continuing to lie--and make up new even more outlandish lies--is the only state in which they can continue to exist.
They've invested hundreds of billions of dollars--creating media organizations; propping up politicians; lobbying for policies--to perpetuate their feedback loop and ensure that Americans are far too distracted and undereducated to see it for what it is.
And now we find ourselves in an era of emerging AI technology that will make stopping or even slowing this tempest that much more difficult.
But reality is a force more akin to gravity; lies mere fantasy. Society tried this with religion during the plague epidemics of the Late Middle Ages in Europe. Reality won out and fundamentally changed the way medicine was both practiced and viewed by society.
President Biden didn't ever even lie to people about the economy--just appeared to minimize their pain by telling them the truth about it--and was still roundly punished by voters. The [REDACTED] Administration is outright lying both about the current economy and the economy as it was under Biden. Reality will likely win out. Voters will punish the GOP at the polls if allowed to do so in November and beyond.
No amount of lying will convince most Americans--even a lot of MAGAmericans--that it is a good thing that it costs $30 more to fill up their gas tank than it did a month ago; that their grocery bill costing far more today is simply the cost of doing business; or that their 401K losing 10% if its value is a positive development--even IF you manage to convince them Iran was on the verge of obtaining a nuclear weapon.
The [REDACTED] can lie away. Reality--like gravity--doesn't care, and it will eventually have its say.
