the only thing for sure is we have to get to the bottom of it.

Garland did appoint Jack Smith which someone really complicit just wouldn't do. Barr on the other hand lied about the Mueller report and seems to have been willing to close down any investigations Trump didn't like. All we have on Garland is he was slow. I'd need more evidence to believe he actively avoided doing his job.
