(8,927 posts)29. Even at 95 years old, and having years to prepare, I know it will be hard to deal with.
I saw my mother slowly die from cancer, and felt relieved for her when she finally transitioned. But, that didn't make it any easier for me to deal with.
Life does go on, and love will always be there for you. Remember, she's left you, but isn't gone. She will always remain in your heart, and in your memories.
