8. A lot of canned vegetables seem about the same as a year ago.

However Del Monte just declared bankruptcy, so who knows what that will do to prices. Also, I noticed a few months ago there are like two dozen options for canned artichoke hearts and the cheapest are cheaper than some canned beans. It just seems odd. I guess labor in Spain is cheap and companies are gouging on flavored beans.
