I know a couple of trans people. They're all on the liberal side of the spectrum. I actually lost the friendship of a transmasc friend because he was heavily into the "Queers for Palestine" movement. I informed him of what would happen to him as a trans person if he ever went to Gaza, and he cut me off.

This is something wholly different. The trans people that I know are trans because they believe that they were born into the wrong gender body. This is actually a young man being so submissive that they dress as a woman. It's a very cult-like.
