Tyler Robinson was neither "far-left" or "far-right"? [View all]
I watched a YouTube from Bluesky about Charlie Kirk's killer and some guy named Max Kuhn was very knowledgeable about Nick Fuentes and the Groyper movement and their origins on the Internet and their philosophy on politics.
Basically, he said that Fuentes started the movement because of his admiration for Donald Trump but that they really stood for nothing. Everything was a joke, a meme. They were serious about nothing. Their only goal was to hate and to disrupt the status quo. Fuentes was gay but he hated gays. They were "post-irony".
Also, he said that Fuentes hated Charlie Kirk more than anyone and would always send "questioners" to his events to disrupt. They would stand in line together with their questions, just to disrupt and annoy Kirk.
Furthermore, Kuhn said that there was no motive and it is a waste of time looking for one. It was an opportunity killing. Kirk was there. Robinson was there. Robinson had a gun and knew how to use it. And he killed Kirk. It was not in the name of the left or the right.
It was an interesting take on the darkest corners of the Internet.
