them specifically or someone they are close to. If Kirk's hatred of trans factored into Tyler's motivation for killing him, that does not mean that Tyler is suddenly left wing. It's possible for Tyler to be both a groyper (who hated Kirk) and pissed about things Kirk said about trans folks.
