17. An acquaintance of mine was building a scale model rocket for a competition, and had a question about a photo.

Saturday

It showed a slightly different coloration along a portion of one of the fins. He called the NASA facility that handled that series of launches.

At first they didn't realize what he was talking about, but the more he explained the more they caught on. They told him that on that launch there was a minor problem and they used some tape to make a quick repair. He said, "Oh, you mean like duck tape"" and they replied, 'Around here we call that stuff rocket tape.'
