3. According to NYTimes, bullets with the gun had "Bella Ciao" and "Hey Fascist Catch" "written" (not engraved?) on them.

If true, and I imagine NYTimes verified and double-verified, having a reference to "Bella Ciao" associated with the killing sucks. I LOVE that song and even posted several versions of it here and on sez.us last week.
