He was a big advocate for owning guns, even the ones that could destroy masses of human beings in seconds or minutes. He was another cog in the skewed rightwing second amendment belief -- one with a microphone -- that our forefathers meant that all citizens should own guns, when our forefathers meant it in the context of gun owners being a part of a "militia". I give our forefathers more credit than believing people should own assault weapons. Those are strictly for killing in war settings.

No tears here; he felt that deaths caused by guns were worth it.
