If we treated every killing the way we treat the killing of a Law Enforcement Officer or Public Celebrity it would change EVERYTHING.
The idea that SOME lives are more precious than others is the Crime That Births The Crime.
Equivalence... The basic building block of Democracy... a chimera waved in our faces and tread-upon to taunt the weak and vulnerable. Until its a well-worn reality we will continue on this path until it destroys the notion of civility
