(1,544 posts)This is something much bigger. It involves loads of international money laundering. And it involves extortion of some of the most wealthy and powerful people in the world. And it involves selling that kompromat.
The sex was probably just for fun at the start, developed into sex trafficking, then developed into a web of clients who were particularly interested in screwing young girls, and voila -- with a few well-placed cameras, you now have a kompromat machine. I doubt this was a well-crafted business plan from the outset, but ultimately it ended up in billions of dollars changing hands.
Do some simple arithmetic. If a billion dollars changes hands, it is not about the sex. You can get as much sex as you want for a lot less than that. It is about the extortion and the money laundering and the buying of foreign policy in exchange for young sex on a private island.
