would it be out of the question the timing of the action was to help the Felon. Not the action itself, although it's not out of the realm of possibilities, but the timing of an inevitable action that was planned anyway?

We already know the "warriors" fired upon a Venezuelan boat with 11 on board that were guilty of what, we may never know.
