Giuliani believed he was being interviewed about the Trump administration's response to COVID-19 for a legitimate news program.

The interview was conducted by actress Maria Bakalova, who was posing as Borat's teenage daughter, Tutar.

The incident: After the interview concluded, Bakalova's character invited Giuliani to a bedroom for a drink. Hidden cameras recorded Giuliani reclining on the bed, reaching into his trousers while Bakalova was in the room.
