… other. He has no interest in anything that doesn’t benefit him transactionally, so he deems such things as unworthy of being understood. Yet he fears the label of an idiot, so he pretends to have ideas, plans and understanding of things about which he has no idea. When challenged in any way, he resorts to name calling and belittling the challenger, and claiming that only he can grasp the brilliance of what he’s doing. He requires those around him to praise his greatness in obviously ridiculously staged fealty - but because his ego craves that praise so desperately, he hears it as genuine.

He’s seriously fucked up. I still struggle with how we can look at him and see all of that fucked-uppidness so plainly and clearly, yet millions look at that same circus and say that’s my monkey.
