I agree. The Dem leaders who can meet this moment, need to be given the baton. The ones who have been constraining the opposition, need to be pushed to the side.

After the Cory Booker 25 hour speech, I saw an energy that needed to be followed. He blazed a path for a paradigm shift. For the shift to happen and the forward motion of resistance to continue, Chuck Schumer needed to be replaced.

I believe Jeffries is also not meeting the moment. I have observed from the beginning of the take over that Schumer and Jeffries were more focused on how the destruction would benefit the party in the mid terms. It seemed to me, they thought they could watch the country implode, and then pick up the pieces.

We need to save Democracy NOW, or there will never be a (semblance of) free and fair elections again.

I wish everyone would spend less time talking about 2026 or 2028, and more time pushing back and speaking out.
