18. She simply knows too much.

Like the mafia dons of old use to say...why take chances? I'm sure she knows the only real protection she has is a "dead man switch" of some kind. Or dead woman switch in this case. In some form or fashion, if she meets her demise, the beans get spilled. I don't know how, but that might be the reason she's still alive after her partner met such a suspicious end.

It may be that the regime and other powers that be don't quite know what to do with her. She can't be pardoned. Not after what she's been convicted of and what's public knowledge. The Q anon nuts will go ape shit, along with everyone else. Seems she's got them in a Mexican stand off of sorts.
