Denying the scientific study of social organizations and social dynamics creates an intellectual void.

This void becomes filled by conspiracy theories, the assumption that hidden powerful actors are actively manipulating society for their own benefit while concealing their existence.

Conspiracy theories are inherently fascist - they reduce society to hidden coercion.

This is where we are.

Nature may abhor a vacuum, and may fill a vacuum with noxious poisonous gas.
