This is true of many forms of bigotry. You and I both know how easy it is for some to dismiss homophobia when it is a hated target, such as Lindsey Graham. Some just can't help themselves and immediately attack him based on his alleged homosexuality, then claim it is not "really" homophobia, and when it is called out, the ones calling it out are called "defenders of Graham and MAGA". Does the pattern sound familiar?
