His incompetence and stupidity will probably lead the leading citizens to call on the Federal Government to revoke statehood and for them to revert to territorial status, if not military occupation. Here's hoping they make it legal for him to run in more than one state.

I suppose the good news for all is that he'll be out of the Senate, though I fully expect Alabama to find someone worse.
