I'm sorry to hear of your difficulties.

There are three post offices I deal with in the Catskills, one in New York, one nearby in Pennsylvania and the other in New York City. The are each staffed with excellent, friendly and helpful folks who go out of their way to help with anything I need from the USPS. Further, I haven't experienced any of the troubles you've described.

Please don't think I'm arguing or being contrary. I've heard lots of horror stories from others and your experiences ring true. I guess I've just been lucky.
