6. This "definition" needs to change for modern times.

The last "declared war" we had? I think it was WWII. Everything else has been called anything BUT a declared war... but soldiers fighting and a country being destroyed by that firepower is a war, no matter how you call it. Also, in modernity, we have to look beyond physical acts of war and destruction and move on to the types of war that can harm us even more -- computer espionage, terrorism, and exploits.
