I've sent a ton of things all around the US, from Nebraska, Ohio, Illinois, Iowa, Arizona and Texas. I've found the personnel have always been helpful and pleasant, without fail. I may have had a letter go astray for a week or two but they always get delivered.

we've also dealt with post offices in Canada, France, Mauritania, Taiwan, Chad, and Thailand. If you think the US Post Office has a problem, try the post offices in those countries! Canada has icely cold polite people who will not help you unless you ask the right question. The other countries were incompetent, corrupt, over staffed with people working for micromanaging bosses.
