I'm old enough to remember when the US Post Office could be trusted . [View all]

Mail arrived daily, outgoing items were picked up from your home mailbox, your bill payments made it and posted before due dates, and delivery came no matter the weather conditions.
Within the last 4 months, I have had numerous days without delivery (I live in town), 3 separate payments never made it to their destinations, and a bank draft from Canada never showed up. One other quarterly payment took 4 1/2 weeks to be accepted and cashed by an insurance company, leading to my policy being canceled and then reinstated.
