Fall 2025 Dutch bulb catalog arrived in today's mail [View all]

Included in today's mail: ########* Fall 2025 wholesale price list. It's a Dutch flower bulb supplier my late husband bought from once in a while. The catalog still comes, addressed to him, which always brings a sad on me, but it is what it is.

Notice on the order page:
>"6% Tariff Surcharge

The current administration imposed a general 10% tariff on all European exports to the US, while delaying a higher 20% tariff for 90 days. These general tariffs apply to Dutch flower bulbs. Our published pricing does not include these tariffs. We have been forced to add a nominal 6% surcharge on the Product Subtotal of each order. If the tariff is rescinded, we will remove it from orders. If you paid by check, we will send you a refund check. We do not charge credit cards until orders are prepared for fall shipment: the surcharge would be removed prior to payment. We appreciate your trust and understanding."<

Wonder what White House Garden area might be attacked if Hisself ever finds out about this importer laying the blame for cost hikes at his doorstep, where it rightfully belongs.

*name of the business not shown cuz I like them and don't want TCF declaring war on the Netherlands. But if you really want to know who they are cuz you might want to buy some bulbs, message me here at DU and promise not to publish the name.
