which means that under the current rules under which ICE is operating, even US citizens whose ancestors came here on the Mayflower can be held without habeas corpus and possibly even deported if they don't have the opportunity to prove who they are. Merely showing ICE documents is not sufficient. Even real documents such as REAL ID can be obtained with fake documents, or real stolen documents.
