6. Do you know the difference between stages and grades?

Or the different way prostate cancer is labeled from any other cancer I know about?

I always have to look up the difference between stage and grade - and I have two kinds of cancer. One of them uses two different ranges for grade, depending on which institution I visit - and neither of them include grade 5. And neither of them use two different grades to create a different score - and a grade group, rather than a grade.

So no, his calling it stage 9 cancer, rather than Gleason Score 9, is not evidence of his mental decline. It's evidence of how complex cancer is - and the lack of uniform labeling.
