If Trump pardons Chauvin for Floyd's murder, even though the state charges remain, there will undoubtedly be massive protests. The Proud Boys will use that to cause violence at night, after the demonstrations. Or the police will just insight the riot. At that point, Trump could declare Martial Law.

That's only one example. If any unforeseen situation results in massive protests and even one becomes violent, Trump and Steve Miller will use that opportunity to declare Martial Law and none of us will have rights.
