Claudia Sheinbaum the left wing Jewish woman president of Mexico won election with 61% of the vote. Her party has a 2/3 majority in both houses of the legislature. Her party doubled the amount of taxes corporations pay without raising taxes but by cracking down on cheating. Debt is 50% of GDP, her party increased min wage 150%.
Sheinbaum follows her predecessor Obrador firmly establishing a left of center party in control of Mexico. Polling shows popularity we could only dream of here. Moreno has courted the votes of the working class for decades, and it has paid off.
