And it keeps happening in the most obvious, as well as the most unexpected places. Some people do it various social media and discussion forums online … others write memoirs. Sigh.

I wonder if that's the reason he chose to give up his seat? And the chances are slim to none that West Virginia will ever elect another Democratic senator.
