'We will never accept the Russian wishlist': Fmr. Ukraine President Poroshenko - MS NOW Reports

Trump wants Ukraine's decision on his proposal to end the war by Thanksgiving but the plan is getting backlash from NATO allies who say it heavily favors Russia. It includes giving Russia land it doesn't currently control.

Former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko joins Ana Cabrera to share his reaction to the ongoing negotiations. - Aired on 11/24/2025.

Excellent timeline and I completely agree, Putin's word cannot be trusted and he's a murderer as well Rhiannon12866 Tuesday #2

It is Russia that had agreed to never invade if Ukraine gave up their nuclear missiles.
It is Russia that invaded Crimea as the first break of the treaty.
Then Russia started moving around troops and saying they just wanted to get the Nazi's out of Ukraine. Then it became clear that this was a grab and they had no respect for previous agreement.

To give in to Putin's demands is to repeat the early handling of Hitler's demands.
To have real peace would be simple.

1 Russia stops trying to move forward and asks, politely for a cease fire.
2 Russia honors the cease fire, pulls back troops from all territory they invaded, including Crimea.
3 Russia apologizes.
4 Russia reduces their army.
5 Russia asks for the territory that Ukraine captured to be allowed to vote on possibly rejoining Russia.

There you have it. Russia can end this war quite easily. This is also the path of least doom for Russia. I expect Russia to have some really hard times for a good long time. I hope that the various regions that Putin has exploited for cannon-fodder split away if only to escape the debt Putin has created for his nation.

Any other negotiation would be worthless since we know that Putin can't be trusted. His word is absolutely worthless. His ethic is non-existent. He has already demonstrated that he doesn't respect law, treaties, or rights of his own people, let alone any other people.

And, like the felon-in-chief, he thinks nothing of the hell he's putting his countrymen through by starting and now escalating his illegal war. But his dream is to recreate the former USSR and he doesn't care what it takes to accomplish this and he claims absolute power. He's even started firing warning shots towards those who signed on with Ukraine. I don't know what it would take to stop him except for the International Court of Justice which has had a warrant for him in place since 2023, but they can't arrest him while he remains in Russia.
