Velshi Banned Book Club: 'The Picture of Dorian Gray' by Oscar Wilde with author Abdi Nazemian - Velshi - MSNBC

Initially published as a famously censored novella for Lippincott's Monthly Magazine in June 1890, Oscar Wilde’s “The Picture of Dorian Gray” explores persuasion and corruption, sexual identity, desire, mortality, and societal obsession with youth and beauty. According to “Exquisite Things” author Abdi Nazemian, it is a story that has become a symbol of resilience. - Aired on 11/01/2025.

As for me, I've been sick for over a week, congestion, coughing and blowing. I have a meeting tomorrow that I really should attend, but not sure I'm up to it yet, though I know that I better be okay by Tuesday so I can vote. I have a chance to do early voting like I did last year, but I might just see how I am on Tuesday.

My goal, at this point, is to be well enough to GOTV on Tuesday since it's been going on two weeks...
