'Double standard' for Secretary of Defense to be 'a national security risk': Charlie Sykes - MSNBC Reports

Three U.S. officials with direct knowledge tell NBC News that the information Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth shared with his wife and brother in a Signal group chat came from a top general’s secure messages. NBC News’ Courtney Kube has more details. Former Deputy Pentagon Press Secretary Sabrina Singh and MSNBC contributor and columnist Charlie Sykes join Chris Jansing to react. - Aired on 04/22/2025.

He knows he is way, way, way above his limited abilities and pay grade where he actually belongs employment wise. The Peter Principal was written with people like Peter Hegseth in mind..... X 1,000.

Sourced from experimental Artificial Intelligence,....

The Peter Principle is a management theory that suggests employees in a hierarchy are promoted based on past performance, not their ability for the new role. This can lead to employees reaching a level where they are no longer competent, which can cause frustration and inefficiency. The theory was developed by Laurence J. Peter and Raymund Hull and published in their 1969 book The Peter Principle: Why Things Always Go Wrong.
