Happy Harvest Day!...

Did a little experiment this year. Had some seeds laying around that need to get used…approximately 4 years old…kept in an airtight container in a temperature controlled drawer in the refrigerator.
Usually grow inside in a grow tent with temperature monitored, light schedule on a 18/6 cycle which is good for feminized Autoflower cannabis. This time I grew in the outside greenhouse, natural lighting, whatever temperatures nature gave us….which this spring and summer was all over the place.

This was a truly ’what the heck’ grow.

Well… looky here…

And the Top Cola

So, did you notice how the buds form a double helix up the stock? I don't have any of that in my grow this year.

I'll have some tomato pics in a day or so, too busy to mess with downloading them from the camera right now. I have a couple 2#ers and one that I won't know till I weigh it - sized tomatoes, the kind with cleavage! One is nearly a complete circle round the stem.

Plucking off those shade leaves my fingers were so sticky…if my mom saw me sucking my fingers…

Tomatoes with cleavage so many jokes…so little time 🤪 Sounds like a good tomato.
Our Roma’s are starting to blush. The cherry tomatoes we get from our compost tomatoes are doing great lots and lots. What we don’t eat immediately…I dehydrate to add into marinara sauces later on. Adds a ton of flavor, I use ‘em like a dry paste to thicken up the sauce.

Dehydration of the cherry tomatoes for paste! I don't have a garden every year so I don't have a lot of creative ideas one gains from continued experience. We have four cherry tomatoes, 2 gifted and two were rescues from walmart. The rescues are doing much better than I expected so I feel justified in getting them. I'll leave pot growing to the pros.

Too hot to be in here so later!

I’ll describe the whole deal…it was born out of desperation.
